Professors/lecturers/postdoctoral or senior researchers/other professionals:

Students* (Proof of enrolment in a higher education program required):

Representatives of NGOs and other civil society organizations (proof required) :

*Registration is FREE for Master’s and Ph.D. students of ISCTE-IUL (Proof required).

The registration is a 2-step process. 1st register your attendance (and payment) in the platform (link above). 2nd step: send your proof of payment (official proofs, printscreens are not eligible) to ssecommons.cei@iscte-iul.pt with the subject line ‘Proof of payment for SSE&Commons 2025’. Your participation will only be confirmed once you have sent to our email the official proof of payment and, when applicable, your proof of student status (including ISCTE students), or proof of representative or member of an NGO or non-profit association.
For non-European attendees –> Visa and Letter of Invitation! For those who require an invitation letter for visa purposes, we strongly recommend that you proceed with this request as soon as possible. Please keep in mind that the CEI admin will have limited availability during the mid-July-August season; in past editions, registered participants have not been able to come due to delays on the release of visa arrangements very close to the conference dates; in some cases there is a need for articulation and contact with the Embassy.
Grants and Bursaries requests: Due to lack of funding SSE Organization is not able to offer any grants, travel support or registration fee waivers.
Face-to-face event: This event is fully presential. It is not possible to present or attend online.
SSE Refund, Payment & Cancellation Policy
If a registrant is unable to attend, our default policy is no reimbursement.
Alternatively, if a registrant is unable to attend for any reason, he/she may, by arrangement with our admin, replace the registrant with someone related to the work/paper/session (please contact us if this is the case).
